a professor of surgery at the Calixto Carcia Hospital, has already performed various surgical operations of the kind that just a short time ago would have required the person to be sent abroad. Operation Rescue When the Che Guevara Teachers Brigade left Cuba, Fidel handed it a flag as a symbol of the team. This is a beautiful red banner with the portrait of Che and letters reading: Che Guevara Internationalist Detachment.
This banner must always be in possession of the team that did the best job.
At one time it was in Luanda but recently it has been in Cabinda. Operation Rescue is a plan drafted by the boys in Luanda to regain the flag with the support of the inhabitants of the local residential district. We have to provide impetus for relations with the residential section here, with the pioneers, making sure that our neighbors in Luanda will realize that we are here and will understand the significance of our work. We want the flag to be returned to us.
